TDEA works hard to provide its member with a myriad of tools to help them successfully teach, lead, and administer a successful dance program. To access these tools, you will need to login to the website after becoming a member of TDEA. Here’s a sample of what’s inside your Member Resource area.

Our recently updated Resource CD contains over 600 files for dance and dance team educators. Most files are editable. The 2nd edition of the TDEA Resource CD is perfect for anyone that is interested in spending less time at the computer and more time in the studio. This CD is available to our members to order.

Click below to view a few sample lesson plans available on the TDEA Resource CD:
  • Danceable Thoughts – Romantic Ballet - by Angela Hayes
  • Dance Team - New Parent Packet - by Fayla Curry / Holly Knight
  • Improvisation - Improvisation Exercises - by Kelli Woodruff
  • Travel - San Antonio Trip - by Fayla Curry

  • Our Resource CD - the Online Version is headed your way! Many of the 600 files found on the TDEA Resource CD mentioned above will be available to view on this website. The files will be viewable, but not editable when accessed through this site. For editable files, members will need to purchase the CD. Once you log in, you will be able to access the order form.

The TDEA Membership Directory is a favorite tool of Directors, Dance Educators, and Exhibitors who enjoy being able to easily access contact information for other TDEA members. This directory is available online to members only.

The Job Fair is an amazing tool for our Dance Educator and School Administration members to utilize. Job openings and applications are posted throughout the year.

The TDEA Bulletin Board is being re-vamped so that you will be able to post items you’d like to trade, buy, or sell for your dance program.

    Convention Handout Archive
Each year we collect all of the handouts distributed at convention workshops. These documents are compiled in a zip file for easy download and use by our members.

TDEA Board Meeting Notes and Treasury Reports are also available to our members to review throughout the year through this website.

The following links should assist anyone involved in dance education. These tools have not been developed specifically for TDEA members, but should be useful to you.
